ROBERTO PALERMO

Is an Italian virtuoso accordionist, an excellent improviser, a polystylist musician and composer from the south of Italy.

Roberto has composed and recorded music for many Italian films, worked in top Italian theatres. For the last 10 years he has lived and worked in Oslo, Norway, where he takes part in various musical projects and works in the theatre.

Playing in various genres, Roberto considers the accordion a great means of musical expression and strives to develop contemporary music. A student of one of the best accordionists in the world - the Italian Renzo Ruggieri.

ALEXEY KOLESNIKOV

Is a well-known latvian virtuoso violinist.

Alexey was born in Riga, and as a child won first place in the “Latvian Talents” competition for three years in a row, then at the age of 16 he moved to Moscow, where he graduated from the Moscow Conservatory. He lived abroad for about 20 years, working in very famous musical projects both related to classical music and show business. Alexey has been living in Latvia for the last 8 years.

Alexey is a polystylist musician, playing classical music, as well as Irish, country, pop, gypsy jazz, jazz manoush. Alexey is a brilliant violin improviser, a participant in TV shows, theater and international festivals.

He is the founder of the “Musical Ornaments” project and the creator of his own method of teaching music.

Alexey’s whole life is dedicated to music and his favorite instrument – ​​the Violin. His playing touches and open any heart.

The musicians will present a very exquisite program “TANGO. Buenosaires Night”, some compositions will probably be performed in Latvia for the first time.

The program will feature works by Astor Piazzolla, Richard Galliano, Carlos Gardel, arrangements of Neapolitan songs “O Sole Mio”, “Dicitencello Vuie”, “Torna a Surriento”, and of course everyone’s favorite “Czardas” by Vittorio Monti.
